In Tirana. Early Saturday morning. The alarm turned on. It was about 8am. I had a few messages from my friends. They had just come to pick me up at my apartment’s location. Waw, that’s too early — I said. The excitement was obvious. We started driving toward Palase, the Albanian Riviera. A stop on the highway for a cup of coffee was necessary. Since the three of us were engaged in a way or another in the Real Estate world, the talk in regards to this topic had no finish line :)

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.

Vlora Bypass

After about 3 hours of driving on the highway, passing through thousands of acres of green agricultural and solar-made fields, crossing above Vlora, zig-zagging through Llogara village and between the mountains, at some point our view turned sea-blue and thankfully there were no clouds. Not because the sun would be covered, but because we were above where the clouds would have actually been. That view gives you the feeling you are in flight, with those sea-small-airplanes just about to land above the sea.

Once you come here, you would never want to leave.

In front of the entrance. Yes, at the Green Coast Residence. After passing the security check, we just entered one of the most magnificent residential projects in the Albanian Riviera. Just…another feeling. Temptational, peaceful and colored with nature. Colored with nature? Yes, the residence architecture is built in harmony with the environment and the rocky mountain where the project lies. That creates the idea of a slope mountain taking care of its extraordinary ‘temple’ built by humans.

We were there, part of this ‘temple’. Even though for two days only. Imagine more…

Green Coast Residence

One of the things worth mentioning was that everything you needed could be found easily inside the residence. Mind-blowing. We stopped for lunch, just at the boulevard. Had some fresh sea-food just caught that early morning, accompanied with white wine from the grape vineyards of the southern area of Albania.

Chilling Area at the Pool

Already quite full from lunch, we headed towards the villa where we were going to stay. While driving about 2 min from the boulevard, you could easily think how they built this kind of infrastructure. Villas lined up one after the other, equipped with verandas, yards and parking posts, windows that reflected the sun’s rays, where almost all of them had a view of the sea. Car stopped. We just parked. A relief feeling. The car would rest. We had our buggy helping us drive inside the residence.

The villas’ door opened. You know that feeling you have by moving from an environment where the heat could easily bake the eggs outside, to an environment where you could easily breathe? It was just that. And you know what? We just got that feeling of home. Impressing.

And waww…how exquisitely were these details combined…A side of the wall covered in wood and marble, reflected in detail by the dedicated light spots…The colors of the same family, playing together as if they had something in common. And actually they had their purpose of making this living room as comfortable, refreshing and contemporary as possible. Mind-relaxing.

Kitchen Area

The kitchen…sooo inviting!!! My friend joked saying “I don’t know how to cook, but in this kitchen I would definitely do something tasteful” :) And I said — then you should have such a one, otherwise you would stay unmarried forever…:)

Sea-view Bedroom

A small action of pulling the curtains in the living room and in the two bedrooms upstairs would blow your eyes full in blue, that not of sky only but of the sea ‘sitting’ by the shore. Irresistible.

The living room

The stairs…as if they had a mouth welcoming you with their lighted energy! Three bedrooms, while two of them double-size ones with bathroom included, and the other one a kids-room. Actually this villa would easily and comfortably fit two families or a group of nine to ten. Despite its beauty, it remains functional.

Private Pool of the Villa

My friends had a rest at their rooms, while I didn’t want to miss the chance of trying the pool from the backside. Gorgeous, private, and fabulous feel. You have that feeling of owning something, that’s how I felt. I felt that it was mine. Rewarding :)

I hid somewhere in the shadows, put the glasses on, uncorked a Corona beer, opened the book and started reading. Focused. As I sometimes read out-loud, my voice could perhaps reach others’ people’s attention. It was super quiet.

In an hour, we just dropped by the bay with our buggy. That sea sound… I will never forget. Suspenseful. You could rent anything you wanted, a jet ski, a yacht, and whatever your mind would imagine. Entering the water provoked only the sense of touch. Not the sense of sight. That crystal as if it was drinkable.

While the pebbles on the shore glistened from the sunset, we took the opportunity to enjoy it from the veranda of the villa. It was 8 o’clock.

Despite the alternative to go to the bars at the boulevard of the residence, we chose that evening to chill out from the veranda. Under the quiet, fresh sea air, and a wonderful view of the entire residence sitting in front of the Ioanian sea, we lit a Cuban cigar. Opulent Living. While talking, laughing, and relaxing, only one thing would make our faces iced…the thought of leaving in two days…My friend just turned to me… “Imagine owning this villa, I would have come every weekend, or just stay here for a couple of weeks with my family. Wouldn’t it be awesome?” The other replied “Can you imagine being able to move on and enjoy your retirement here?” We all had that contagious smile on our face…:)

That villa was just…glamour!
